Assessment Description Students are expected to use dimensional analysis to skillfully and accurately perform medication calculations. The Medication Math Competency assesses the level of your ability to perform calculations at a given time without error.  This is a one-time quiz and is not part of the 76% exam average. The competency also serves as a preview of the Performance Based Assessment (PBA) expectations in Levels 2-4. For additional information about PBAs, refer to the Pre-Licensure Nursing Med-Math Policy in the University Policy Handbook.
